The Old Courtroom Deluxe Room is our award-winning room, boasting a hand-carved, king-sized, Elizabethan-style four-poster bed.
The room has been developed from the old Magistrate’s bar, which is very familiar to our regular guests. It features the original stone walls and wood panelling.
Another distinctive feature of this deluxe room is the comfortable seating area by the window, which offers exceptional views of Dornoch Square and the Cathedral from a unique angle.
The modern bathing area has a whirlpool bath and shower, with a spectacular view of the 14ft beamed ceiling.
The Old Courtroom is equipped with an electric stove, but the original fireplace is still visible—it remains in display as a reminder of the past.
