North Coast 500
Scotland’s very own ‘Route 66’
Scotland’s very own ‘Route 66’
Scotland’s very own ‘Route 66’ has been developed with the aim to showcase the stunning coast of the Scottish Highlands. The route consists of just over 500 miles beginning in Inverness and loping round the coast. Instead on the long, flat drive of Route 66 you are swept along the windy and steep single track roads of rural Scotland, bringing you passed many a Castle and beach to entice you. With plenty of enchanting towns and villages along the way and just off the track there is something to suit all on this route.
500 MILES OF UNFORGETTABLE THINGS TO SEE & DO
North Coast 500 offers a selection of itineraries to tempt all, from the ‘Active Adventurers’ feature mountain biking tracks, to those looking for a trip of ‘luxury’ including a couple of Castle visits. The Route offers a variety of options of what there is to see and do throughout the North of Scotland aiming at history, culture, food and drink, and adventure and attractions.
